Starting from the vibrant city of Marrakech, we ride through winding roads to the coastal charm of Essaouira, where the ocean breeze meets ancient ramparts. From there, we head south to Taroudant, the “Little Marrakech,” surrounded by majestic walls and the scent of citrus groves.
Our journey takes us deeper into the heart of Morocco, across remote landscapes to Foum Zguid, a gateway to the desert’s vast horizons. We then ascend into the Atlas Mountains toward Boumalne Dadès, where dramatic gorges and breathtaking curves await.
The adventure continues to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a legendary kasbah steeped in history and cinematic fame. Finally, we return to Marrakech through spectacular mountain passes, carrying memories of diverse landscapes, warm hospitality, and authentic Moroccan culture.
This tour blends thrilling riding, cultural encounters, and stunning scenery — perfect for travelers seeking both adventure and discovery.
Ait Ben Haddou
After your transfer to the hotel, this first day is devoted to acclimatisation, administrative formalities and a general briefing on the tour. The earlier you arrive in Marrakech, the more time you will have to explore Jemaa El Fena square and its lively streets. Welcome dinner.
First half day riding. We get used to the bikes and Moroccan traffic. Easy ride through light hills and Argan Trees fields. As we approach Essaouira, the sea breeze and dunes herald our arrival on the Atlantic coast, where we end the day exploring the historic medina and the traditional harbor.
Leaving Essaouira, following the Atlantic coast with its spectacular beaches and cliffs. After a lunch break on the beach, we leave the coast behind to cross the plains of Souss, Morocco's vegetable garden, before reaching Taroudant, at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains.
A fantastic day where we leave behind the fertile plains of the Souss to tackle the Anti Atlas passes and reach the first desert landscapes.
Leaving Foum Zguid, the road winds its way through desert expanses towards Tazenakht, the Mecca of Berber carpets, with its rocky landscapes and ochre villages. The route continues on to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the South, with its film studios and the majestic Taourirt kasbah. After a break, the bike heads for Skoura and its secret palm groves, then Kelaa Mgouna, famous for its Rose Valley. The panoramas become greener as we climb towards the High Atlas. The day ends at Boumalne Dadès, at the foot of spectacular gorges, between rosy cliffs and golden light.
We set off early in the morning along the Valley of the Roses to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, where we spend some time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the setting for several major Hollywood productions.
Continuing towards Telouet, the road becomes more winding, passing through small Berber villages nestling in the mountains. The kasbah of Telouet, former palace of the Lords of Glaoui, is a must for exploring this architecture rich in history. The climb to the Tichka Pass, the high point of the day, offers breathtaking views over the valleys and peaks of the Atlas Mountains before the gradual descent back to Marrakech, marking the end of a wonderful adventure combining mountain scenery, culture and history..
