First half day riding. We get used to the bikes and Moroccan traffic. Easy ride through light hills and Argan Trees fields. As we approach Essaouira, the sea breeze and dunes herald our arrival on the Atlantic coast, where we end the day exploring the historic medina and the traditional harbor.
From Essaouira to Taroudant, we ride the wild Atlantic coast before turning inland through the spectacular Atlas Mountains and the hidden roads of Immouzzer Ida Outanane. From ocean cliffs to waterfalls and mountain valleys, we finish our day in Taroudant — the “Little Marrakech”, where Morocco’s timeless charm comes alive.
From Taroudant to Aït Ben Haddou, ride through the heart of Morocco’s argan country, discovering the ancient craft behind its precious oil. Then climb through the dramatic landscapes of Taliouine and Tazenakht, where red valleys, volcanic mountains and remote Berber villages lead you to the legendary Aït Ben Haddou.
From Aït Ben Haddou to M’Hamid El Ghizlane, follow the legendary Draa Valley through Ouarzazate, Agdz and Zagora, riding between ancient kasbahs, palm groves and dramatic desert landscapes. As the road fades into the Sahara, reach M’Hamid — the gateway to the great dunes, where the real desert adventure begins. Diner under the stars, night in a desert camp, … let the magic begins !
A day to slow down and experience the Sahara, from the remote dunes of Chigaga to the desert village of M’Hamid. Explore the dunes by 4x4, visit remote desert communities and meet local people — or simply unwind by the pool and enjoy the silence. No riding today, just pure desert, freedom and unforgettable moments.
After a day of pure desert freedom, we get back on the GS and ride from M’Hamid through Zagora and the spectacular landscapes of Nkob. We then tackle the legendary Tizi n’Tazazert, a remote mountain pass leading us back into the High Atlas and the dramatic Dades Valley. A big riding day, full of contrasts, winding roads and unforgettable scenery.
We leave Boumalne Dades to explore the spectacular Dades Gorges before looping through the High Atlas towards the dramatic Todra Gorges. From towering cliffs and winding mountain roads to the vast landscapes around Erfoud, we finish our southern adventure in the heart of Morocco’s desert country.
We leave the South, heading north. Passing through the palm groves of Erfoud, and the breathtaking panoramas of the Ziz valley. After a break in Errachidia, the road climbs towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views before arriving in Timahdite at the end of the day, where we'll settle into a superb lakeside resort.
This half-day ride offers a picturesque route through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops to admire the cedar forests and alpine scenery of Ifrane, nicknamed the "Switzerland of Morocco". On the way down to Fès, the road winds through lush green valleys, offering a striking contrast before reaching the historic medina of Fès.
A well-deserved rest day in Fez, exploring its UNESCO-listed medina, historic madrasas and vibrant souks, while immersing in Morocco’s rich cultural heritage.
A cultural pause designed for BMW GS riders to recharge, connect, and experience the soul of the country beyond the ride
We leave our spiritual interlude and drive through the rolling countryside of the Rif, stopping off at Ouezzane, a town famous for its olives and crafts. The road winds through pine forests and picturesque villages before reaching Chefchaouen, the blue city nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views and a unique atmosphere.
A day under the sign of the Mediterranean. A half-day excursion that will take us through the Rif mountains to a limpid blue sea where swimming and a fish lunch are on the agenda. The afternoon is given over to Chefchaouen, the real pearl of the north, for some well-deserved idleness before the return trip to Marrakech with its many surprises.
An early start for a day packed with culture, with a stop to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, before passing through the imperial city of Meknes. The route continues through the mountainous landscapes of Ito, offering panoramic views of the Middle Atlas plateaux, before arriving in Azrou, renowned for its cedar forests and thousands of cherry trees.
We leave the cedar forests of Ain Leuh and head towards Khénifra along the Oum Er-Rbia river. After a break in Afourer, the road winds through the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views before reaching the Bin El Ouidane lake and its spectacular dam (one of the largest in the kingdom).
A final day on the bike before heading back to Marrakech. We leave the lake behind to reach the Ouzoud waterfalls for a coffee break with a view of the impressive falls (100m). We then leave the heights of the Atlas for good to reach the plains of El Haouz. We say goodbye to our mounts and return to the hustle and bustle of the Ochre city. The evening ends with a closing dinner where music and gastronomy are king. A final magical Moroccan evening.
